Prayer of Surrender

Dear Heavenly Father,

I acknowledge my need for You, and I receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior, my Redeemer, my Lord, and my Deliverer.

I invite You now to be Lord over every area of my life:

Lord of my mind—my thoughts, attitudes, and mental health
Lord of my body—my physical health and well-being
Lord of my spirit—my worship and devotion to You
Lord of my family—and all of my relationships
Lord of my sexuality—and its expression
Lord of my work—and my service for You
Lord of my material needs—and all that I possess
Lord of my finances
Lord of my emotions—and all of my reactions
Lord of my will—and every decision I make
Lord of the manner and timing of my life and death

Thank You that Your blood was shed so that I might be set free.
